چکیده
Deductive reasoning which includes generalizing, justifying, exemplifying, comparing, and classifying is the main feature of studying mathematics. This study aims to describe qualitatively deductive second-semester mathematics teacher candidates in number theory. Mathematics who have equal mathematical abilities are same sex, namely women as research subjects. The results showed that two subjects met indicators reasoning, making general statements, special concluding. could be caused by characteristics prospective students receiving, storing, processing, how solve problems or what called cognitive style
